Luis, I am glad to see this here.... Care to weigh in on how these apply to the work in Davis Square? What surprises you about those who are (or aren't) using the space? How might it teach you to look at other public spaces differently? Is Davis Square a good or poor model and why?

ReplyDeleteI am working on to get all this answers on my research paper...What do I want to know? What methods do I use to know? and What did I find out? will be all on my paper, which I will be posting it by tomorrow! Very exciting materials. During my observations at Davis Square last night, I notice something really interesting. In a couple of occasions, I have observed a single man and a group of three woman seating and walking around Davis Square and exploring the site. The fun part was that these people did not appeared to going somewhere. They were just there, seating around. I observed they kept moving from one corner to another corner, seating and watching for a long time. I thought it was very interesting and curious to see them do that repeatably.
